Countdown to Destruction

My interest in Ran goes on and off. With the increasing number of stupid people, slow exp gain, lack of parties, resources, and reckless violence I don't know how much longer I can take it. I am estimating a quit date similar to when old ran GS ended before 12/21.

Right now there's only about 4 active clubs that speak mostly English vs the millions of uncounted foreign ones.

I'm hoping more sane and reasonable people will start playing, but with the lack of actual advertising and interest I fear the future for GS 2.0.

In 2 more weeks it will be my SL character's creation date...

Just as I feared the Ran community has gone even more sour. It feels more segregated now. Also violence is starting escalate even within the English community with the whole Pinoy Club vs Elite mess...

I feel like I barely play now, and if I do, I'm justs p-lvling my alt hoping to see what I can do with their awesome new skills. However, I've grown tired and more frustrated each day. I, Ruki have not stepped in foot at B3, I refuse to go there. BP has not gone there too. I am starting to dislike how later areas in the game the monsters are so aggressive and do so much damage it's impossible to talk with other players. I can barely talk to anyone lvling in b3 as is.

This brings me to my next point. In the last few months of playing I have seen so many people come and go. They either played briefly and just disappeared quickly with no good bye, went to other clubs, or lvled so fast they forgot about their old friends completely. I know it's just an online game and this stuff was bound to happen, but can't I have just one beat communication?

I know there are still a few people I like around, I might visit during the hours they play to say hi and check out updates. I formed this club hoping to help players out and intended it to be more of a social club rather than a club that seeks power, glory, and lvling like mad. However, barely any new players show up these days and as my alts I am forced to wander.

This is a game, it's supposed to be fun, but alas most of the fun is gone. So I guess it's time to move on.

I suspect me, BP, and maybe some others (Zikoro, PornKing, etc.) will probably evacuate completely by Dec 21.

well we all got a final slap to the face, iv got mine aaaaaaages ago lol but yeah im migratin' to Grand Fantasia, its quite a fun game, u guys shud check it out =] and oh yeah if u do play come to Siropas server im usually hangin' around Channel 2-3 so yeah hope to see some of you guys

Now I'm just imagining ken sitting in a different town square passing the time away.

Makes me feel sad reading about it after some time has passed.
